"Four Paws Up"
Hi, my name is Blizzard and I am an 18 month old Alaskan Malamute. I attended 4 training sessions with Ms Mandy from Puppy to Advanced and enjoyed every class! We malamutes tend to be a stubborn, fat headed but very affectionate breed. Mandy knew that and was able to teach me several commands and important social skills without changing who I am. I'm a good boy on walks, play only with my toys, sit when petted and am always included in social and family events because Mandy taught me how to behave. I love being loved and I LOVE Ms Mandy! She always had great treats too!

"Mandy is the best!!!"
That is a direct quote from Deacon my American Bulldog. As a nurse with long shifts, Mandy was able to accommodate me for late evening class which was amazing. Deacon was a rescue who was scared and unsure of strangers, especially men. From the very first class puppy 101, I was impressed with Mandy's understanding of dog behaviors and patience to let him get acquainted with her. She used positive reinforcement and treats to reward his good behaviors. She was friendly and had such a kind aura about her I knew she was right for us.
I witnessed her professional and knowledgeable interaction not only with my timid boy but many other dogs all breeds and sizes.
Mandy won Deacon over after 1 lesson and he always looked forward to class. As soon as he heard her voice the ears perked up, he looked around for her, and a full body wag ensued. Nothing warms your heart more than a happy puppy.
Not only did she teach us the basics of sit, come, down, look, leave it, good leash behaviors; she gave Deacon trust and confidence. Those are priceless lessons not every trainer has the skill to instill in your dog. She was knowledgeable about the best toys, food, treats too!
Mandy has a gift with dogs, she could immediately get Deacon to listen and pay attention to her. I was impressed with her and it was my pleasure to be taught how to properly train Deacon who is now 14 months old now and 75lbs of pure joy.

"Everybody Wins!"
We adopted sibling, six-month old puppies from Luna’s House this summer. Neither one was house-trained or familiar with obedience commands. Hiring Mandy to train them together at our house was a great move. There weren't any of the distractions that come from being in a larger group of dogs or at an unfamiliar location. After talking to us about what we wanted Lucy and Matty to learn, Mandy created a personalized plan for them.
The puppies think Mandy is a rock star! They loved seeing her arrive at our house and the training sessions were like playtime for them, non-stressful and fun. It was great being able to have her work with them one-on-one. And even more importantly, work with us! We were the ones in real need of training so that we could successfully continue working with the puppies on our own. Thanks to Mandy’s positive and patient approach, the puppies have made great progress! Thanks to her awesome training style , I think we improved too! Sarah Self Joppa, Maryland |
